Our Story

Lovey's Home Inc. was founded in memory of Jackie Jackson, a devoted foster parent, former DCFS employee, and family day care provider. Our mission is to provide a loving and supportive environment for foster youth, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed.

Our Services

At Lovey's Home Inc., we understand the importance of a focused, strategic rollout of our services to ensure long-term success and sustainability. In the first year, we will concentrate exclusively on offering safe, affordable housing for foster youth and young adults transitioning out of the foster care system. This foundational service meets a critical need by offering a stable living environment as they begin their journey toward independence.

We are thrilled to introduce Lovey’s Home Foundation, our nonprofit which is committed to providing vital support services. Working in tandem with our housing initiatives, Lovey’s Home Foundation will offer educational tutoring, mentorship programs, and emotional counseling to foster youth. With these comprehensive services, we’re empowering foster youth not just to transition into adulthood, but to thrive every step of the way.

  • Our affordable housing program is specifically designed for young adults aged 18 to 24 who are transitioning out of care. Residents can stay with us for up to three years or until they reach the age of 25, whichever comes first.

    This program is ideal for foster youth or young adults seeking a stable, nurturing environment to help them grow and prepare for independent living. Our community-focused approach provides a supportive space for personal growth, resilience, and readiness for the future.
